Your empowered career awaits! open roles New Graduate Speech Pathologist Employment type: full-time equivalent (76 hours per fortnight, not inclusive of lunch breaks). Location: Bite & Babble + outreach as required. Award: Health Professionals and Support Services Award. Purpose of the Role The New Graduate Speech Pathologist will provide high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to children and adolescents across a variety of settings, including in the clinic, school and community environments. The role supports clients and their families to achieve their communication, feeding and participation goals, with a focus on neurodiversity-affirming, family-centred practice. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan and deliver individualised therapy for a mixed paediatric and adolescent caseload. Provide intervention across a range of practice areas, including speech, language, AAC, feeding and orofacial myofunctional therapy. Manage an allocated caseload from commencement (4 face to face clients per day with gradual increase to 5), with ongoing supervision and support. Collaborate with families, educators and other professionals to promote functional outcomes. Complete documentation, reports, and correspondence in line with Speech Pathology Australia medico-legal requirements. Participate in case discussions, professional learning, and quality improvement initiatives. Travel to outreach locations as required (mileage reimbursed in accordance with clinic policy). Contributing to clinic marketing initiatives, including social media and community engagement. Undertaking other duties as reasonably directed by the Clinic Director. SPEECH PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT (ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANT) Employment type: Casual, 1-2 days per week (dependant on caseload) Location: Bite & Babble + outreach as required. Purpose of the Role The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) will support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services for children and adolescents across clinic, school, and community settings. Working under the guidance and supervision of a Speech Pathologist, the AHA will implement individualised therapy programs, assist with resource preparation, and help promote functional communication, feeding, and participation outcomes for clients and their families. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group therapy sessions (2–5 clients per standard shift) following programs developed and monitored by a supervising Speech Pathologist. Deliver therapy across a range of practice areas, including speech, language, AAC, feeding, and orofacial myofunctional therapy, using a neurodiversity- affirming and family-centred approach. Create and prepare therapy materials, visual supports, and home practice resources to support client programs. Adapt resources to meet individual learning styles, developmental stages, and cultural needs. Liaise with supervising Speech Pathologists regarding client progress, challenges, and therapy adjustments. Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and educators to support therapy carryover and generalisation. Accurately record session notes and data within clinic documentation systems within 48 hours of service delivery. Assist with preparation and organisation of clinic spaces, resources, and equipment.
